ASSESSOR ON SITE VISITS

PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE APPLICATION
If you have recently moved to Bainbridge, please remember to update your Principal Residence Exemption. You must have a current Homestead Principal Residence Exemption (P.R.E.) on file to avoid paying the non-homestead school tax, which causes a substantial increase to your property tax. If you purchased property in Bainbridge Township or built a new home on previously owned property between January 1st and April 30th, you must file a new P.R.E. affidavit by May 1st; if purchased between May 1st and October 31st, you must file by November 1st to have P.R.E. credit for current year.
