The Township Building Department operates in conformance with the 2015 Michigan Residential Code and the 2015 Michigan Building Code including provisions of the Michigan Energy Code.
Building Permits are required for any new construction, siding, roofing or renovation projects. A Demolition Permit is required before removing any structure from your property. Please check with our Building Inspector BEFORE starting any project.
All residents should phone MISS DIG at 1-800-482-7171 when digging or planting or 8-1-1 to process emergency and non-emergency location requests. This free service will mark all underground utilities and verify setbacks on above ground utilities.
